Dang, I really love working in Illustrator now. Ever since I learned how to use it from type class it’s just become super fun to create art with it.

My inner graphic design major is showing, but I abandoned that long ago. Animation is where I’m staying ;)

Moving out of the dorms forever tomorrow. I’ve had so many great memories here for the past two years, I’m gonna feel lost without this place. It’s sad to think other people will be replacing us and living in our suite/rooms next year. It feels like home. And I’m gonna miss the girls I live with so much, they’ve become my best friends. That’s what sucks about college, is that your friends usually live so far apart. Good thing we’re doing a road trip this summer though :)
Just one painting final to get through and I’m done. Second year of college, completed. And officially a junior.

So my painting teacher failed to give me one of my paintings, and I moved all the way home (2 hours away) and didn’t find out until the other day. So now I’m having to get up at 8am & drive back up to school to pick up my one painting that my friend put in my locker for me.

The bright side of all of this? I get to see Lauren and Kevin and go to the beach & have a picnic with them while I’m up there :) Totally worth it.

PS I got some new lipstick today. It’s super bright pink. Yay summer!

Chelsea, Lauren, and I at the pier this afternoon. I don’t really know what to say about today. Basically a whirl of emotions? Yep, pretty much. I’m just glad I made the decision to come to Long Beach and live in the dorms for two years. It truly changed my life for the better and was one of the best choices I’ve ever made. Plus I have gotten to meet some of the most amazing people.
I guess to sum it up…
Today I moved out of the dorms forever. It was bittersweet :/

It’s 3:13 and I just finished (or almost finished) my final type poster. Now time for bed, then back to LB tomorrow. I’ve missed my roomies <3
